DVD's with best picture quality

When yuo buy or rent a movie how can you tell if the picture of the movie is goin got be good or not? Is there a site that rates the picture quality of DVD movies?

I just watched The Fifth Element last weekend and was reminded what an outstanding transfer it is. IMO it's still one of the best looking movies for picture quality on DVD.

Superbit

The Superbit DVDs have a better picture than the typical release. They toss out all the extras and use all the space on the disc for Audio and Video. I have done a side by side comparison and I can say it was pretty easy to see the difference. Plus they give you both Dolby Digital and DTS.
