I was just wondering if there is a way to burn a DVD that won't read in your player to get it to work. I have an import of Depeche Mode Violator, DTS and it won't play in my Denon but does on my secondary system, the Yamaha 657. I tried to burn it with DVD Decrypter/ DVD Shrink but the burned copy would not read as well and my 2910 just freezes up and i have to unplug it to reset it and get the DVD out of the player..

Any ideas, or a software program you know that will get this thing to play in the Denon? I thought when you burn a disc it makes it region free?

Thanks

As long as you selected "region 0" in decrypter when you were backing it up then it would be "region free". Another possibility is that it is a PAL dvd. not all DVD players will play both PAL and NTSC.

The 2910 plays both. Is there a way to find out the DVD is PAL? Is there a way to burn the disc PAL to NTSC if it is?
