Can anyone tell me what is the optimum recording mode that I could use when recording DVDs (in a Panasonic ES10)? I recorded "Terminal" in SP (Standard Play) mode and I lost the last 5 minutes of the movie. It was a 120 minutes DVD-R and could not hold anything more than that in SP mode.
Meanwhile, I inserted a commercial DVD to my laptop CD drive and found that the file size is well over 8GB and the DVD-Rs that we get in stores are usually 4.7GB. Do I have to use DVD-Rs with more storage capacity or would recording it with a lower mode give me a reasonable video and audio quality?
