Can anyone recommend one? I am getting tired of recording VHS from my Direct Tv. My DVR does not hold enough.

The Panasonic E-15 is old and mentioned in a 2006 Post. Frankly, the reviews are mixed on it.

Thanks

I know you mention the Panasonic DMR-ES15 as being old, but it works extremely well. If you're ok with not being able to record HD, it's one of the few DVD-recorders that uses DVD-Ram discs which function just like a hard drive DVR in that you can time slip and start playback while you are recording. If you can live with not being able to record HD and plan on having some kind of cable or satellite tuner then it really is the best choice. I've heard some very less than favorable reviews on it's successors that include ATSC tuners so unfortunately I can't really recommend them.

Thanks Thunder- every one I read about has so so reviews. I am going with this one because it has less investment and I can get some things burned.
