I am in need of a new DVD player and am lightly considering a recorder. I would be using it to record from a DishNetwork HD box and from another DVD player (through a Sima). I was just wondering how all of you have found the picture quality in the recordings.
Also, is it possible to copy a DVD menus-special features-and-all with a stand alone recorder or is a PC recorder necessary for that?
