DVD Player help, No picture

Hi I saw this upgrade thing on the internet 4 my dvd player and i burned it on 2 a CD and put it in my DVD Player and now it doesnt show video and it doesnt function. When I turn it on all i hear is the fan and thats it how do i fix it? Thanks

This wouldn't happen to be a Denon player would it? If you did not follow the directions explicitly, the ROM may be messed up or incomplete, which unfortunately may mean you'll have to take/send it to a service center to fix.

No its a Regent DVD Player i stuck in the CD and it said Writing and i accidently turned it off and it messed up.
