Sure could use some help on this. Set up is as follows: Marantz SR 7000 receiver,Panasonic DVD-S77, and Samsung 5064 DLP projection TV.The dvd player is connected to the TV via HDMI and digital coaxil audio to the receiver. When I play CD'S, I turn on the receiver & dvd player and the audio feed from the CD plays for about 2 minutes and then cuts out.In order for the CD to continue playing throughout, I have to turn on the tv and route the signal(source button on tv remote) to the dvd (reads HDMI on the tv screen). The problem here is that the TV generates a DVD logo on the screen which is not exactly mood setting when listening to CD's. I tried turning the TV off to get rid of the logo, and the same happens - plays for about two minutes and then cuts out. The TV and DVD configuration setups are relatively straight forward and I beleive they are correct??? I scrolled through the receiver settings and could find anything obvious there either??

Curious indeed. You may want to check to see if there is a menu with auto shut off on any menu or sub menu.
Try the CD play with the HDMI unplugged? You may want to look at the HDMI menu and see if there is a separate audio setup and turn it off.
I think it is finding the right menu to correct.
