dvd audio

Can anybody help me with help on a Denon 2200. My problem is when i play sacd it works fine, however when i try to play dvd audio all that it plays is the dolby digital copy. It doesnt even give me any options on choosing between formats. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a DVD-2910 and had the same problem, so I hope your model has similar setup menus. If you have the "other" section of your setups, the first item is "Player mode". Be sure it's set to Audio, and not Video. You may have to have an audio DVD in the drive to make that menu selection available.

Geno's correct. It's in the last menu on the right. Turn +10dB on and set the player to Auido priority and you will be all set, then adjust your speaker levels in the speaker setup menu.
