Is it worth it?

One decrypted track of 24-bit/96khz 5-channel LPCM audio is about 500MB, then with FLAC you'll probably get it down to 250 - 300MB -per track- using this technique.

I mean, storing and maintaining files of this size, is it REALLY worth it?
