Hi,
I recently heard that there is a difference in the DAC and sound quality between the DV-49 and DV-48 models.
According to all publications they supposed to have exactly the same specifications and components and I can only assume the the dv-49 will have newer ones for better video functionality. The audio components should be the same.
As far as I could understand the DV-49 and DV-48 are both using the Burr-Brown quality DAC.
I just bought the DV-49 and I don't know if I should return it and try to find a DV-48.
Does anybody know if there is any difference and how significant is it?
For me the sound quality is the most important part and I don't really mind about extra video capabilities.
I appreciate any comments/recommendations on this.
