I have the same issue, but haven't wanted to open up the machine. I found the service manual online, and it shows how to remove everything, but seems like it's a little overboard for some dust.
I'm living with it now, the picture doesn't seem to suffer from it right now. If anyone has a way to get to it though without pulling the machine apart, I'd be interested in knowing as well.
