Dumb Monster Cable question

I bought Monster Component video cables and RCA cables, but they don't seem to fit on the back of my receiver or tv. Do I need to do something special? Looking for some advice. Thanks.

No, they should be normal sized and should need no adapters. Perhaps try returning them and getting a less expensive cable.

The RCA connectors Monster uses fit VERY tightly. You need to twist them slightly as you insert them. Just don't twist too hard or apply too much pressure or you could damage the input jack. If you don't succeed in getting them on with gentle pressure and slight twisting action, take them back.

Or, take them back now, before you go any further, and buy cables that cost half (or less) as much, and look just as good.

Nothing wrong with Monster quality, just their prices. Plus, their connections have been known to rip out the RCA connectors of some companies products.

Plus their predatory business practices are abhorant.
