Dual subwoofers- one for low lows and one for higher freq

Was thinking today at the possibility of having a subwoofer dedicated to sub 40hz frequency while having a different subwoofer optimized for 40-100hz duty.

Thoughts?

I think I'd rather have 2 equally capable subs instead of trying to integrate 2 different subs for different frequency ranges.

Yes, I'll have to agree, two identical subs would be better than two different ones covering different ranges.
