Dual subs from single output? Splice or is there a different way?

Ok, so I'm considering on adding an additional sub to my 5.1 setup (so would that make it, 5.2??

Anyways, I'm wondering how I would go about wiring that....would I split from the single output line to the two powered subs are is there a better/different way to do it?

There is no need to spend a lot of money on a Y-Adapter. Blue Jeans cable y-adapter is $2.50.
