Aloha-

I recently have built a dedicated H/T Room in my home it's really small only 12 by 16 feet and 8-feet high.
I insulated it / sound proofed ceiling walls and flooring.
Anyhow my Question isI have been considering adding an addtional Subwoofer
as to Run Duals in my Set-up.
I currently have a JL-Sub ( Fathom ) which I am pretty impressed with produces some clean powerful bass for it's size.
Could One use another Sub , like maybe a SVS to Run as Duels and get even better performance Or better to just Turn up the One I currently have.

That Fathom should destroy your room. I would try turning it up.

first of all, did you calibrate your setup with an SPL meter? if you did, you can bump up the sub channel level a few db's to taste - the sub doesn't have to be matched to the mains.

Just recieved my JL-13 All I can say is this thing is a beast, I just sold a DD-18 I had for a few weeks here and it was noticably lighter than the JL Fathom. Hooked it up sending signal from my Denon 5803 Reciever / Amp And a Denon 3910 DVD player. Watched Nemo with my 4-yr old for the 1000-Th time , But like never before. The DD-18 Was nice and my SVS PB2- Plus2 where great! , But this Fahtom-13 brings Bass Fidelity to the next levels. My Dedicated Theatre Room " Sound Proofed " 16-Long 12- Wide and 8- Feet High. The sound presure was clean and the Bass was sooo Crisp. Amazing form such a small Box it Fits so nicely in my Room And Takes up so much Less space. Front Controls What a Concept!
Now I am considering picking up another before they raise the prices.:D
What's changed? Ditto Jamie's response. Perhaps a Velodyne SMS-1 would help.
