Hi,

I have a Denon AVR-3312CI with 3 Acsend Acoustics CMT-340 SE and 2 CBM-170 SE speakers, and a SVS PC12-NSD sub and I just purchased a SVS PB12-NSD. I have the new sub placed kitty corner to the original sub, my wife has taken the power cord for the new sub and wrapped as a Christmas present. So, on Christmas day, how hard will it be to make the subs work as a dual setup since they are not the exact same model? I know the specs are close between the two models, but will they be close enough or is this going to be a colossul headache in the making?

Thanks in advance,

They are basically the same, only different shapes. They will play very well together, no need to worry.

With that avr I'd place them equidistant from your seat since you don't have separate level/delay adjustment for two subs....and rerun Audyssey after connecting the new sub (and I'd use the sub level step at the beginning of Audyssey to set each sub at the same level rather than trying the same gain adjustment on each sub amp).
