dual or single subwoofer?

ok guys i need your opinion...if some of you can go look on paradigm website and tell me?....would it be better dual seismic12 or a single sub15 pls..thx!...my room is about 20' by 12'..open area on living room and kitchen.

For the price, I wouldn't be looking at Paradigm for a sub unless you are buying their top teir subs like the Sub25. What is your price range?

i can go up to 3000$...now i know i might get dual 13ultra's for 3000$..but they are just too huge..thats why i got my self a seismics12!

I'd start with a single Ultra if that is what you are thinking. It can handle a pretty large area. One of the guys here has a fairly open floorplan and it still absolutely pounds you and still sounds clean.

Since they don't have the Servo15 anymore, I would say go with dual Seismics instead of stepping up to the 15 since it is technically a lower model and only shows a -3dB rating of 35Hz, vs the 17Hz of the Seismic.

A submerssive is an incredible sub. Go that way.

Another vote for Seaton if size is indeed an issue and you cannot fit two Ultra 13s in your space....$3k can buy you alot of sub. In that price bracket I would say you could look into a Danely Sound Labs DTS-20 but that thing is huge....

Mark Seaton is the builder of the sub -- his site is not fully up yet but the seaton forum is up I believe. I assume there is a way to place an order through there are info on who to place an order found there...

well thx and that sub looks quite impresive..i just sent an email to know if they deliver in canada!...thx again.

Yes the Submersive can be delivered to Canada, and Mark is a great guy to work with...

That is a very very good choice in a subwoofer....

And Now they come in pretty colors as well.... I also believe he is now using magnetic grills too....
