Double Barrel Subs!

When hooking up two subs, do you need to purchase subs that have an output to link the next sub in line or can you just install a "y" adapter to seperate the signals to each sub? Ive got a Denon 3805 receiver and I'm looking for subs to complete an HT system.

Any recommendations on Subs that will loosen my foundation?!

SVS seems to be a popular choice on this site, as well as HSU. Both seem to be great value and will pump out the good stuff.

There is, on a different (DIY) hand, the option of building your very own Infinite Baffle subwoofer. You buy 2-8 big 15"+ drivers and attach them in a box to either your ceiling or wall or floor and have them "vent" into the attic, other room, or basement. Add an amp and possibly and EQ and you are set! These bad boys are the ultimate subwoofers, and they will destroy foundations before they max out.

This site is the main place for all things IB: http://ibsubwoofers.proboards51.com/index.cgi

We would need room size in cubic feet including any adjoining rooms, if foundation loosening is more important than music and your budget.

Careful with subwoofer outputs...

...Many of the output jacks on subwoofers only pass a filtered signal. The use of a "Y" connector will allow you to send the entire LF signal to the next sub.
