Doom - A Different Take

If you've played the Game (Doom 3), you will want to watch the movie. It wasn't that bad, and had lots of bass. Did I mention it was Freaking scary? The people who made the game probably wrote the script

You will recognise "creatures" from the game, but not all of them are in it. The story for this one was different from the game, because they had to explain what was happening, without being "unrealistic". Thats all you get.

All in all, a great one to scare some kids

I'm going to see it Sunday looks good. You can't take what critics say because most of them only look at it one way not as what is suppose to be. I'll wait for the DVD rental. Yes it was a fantastic game (I was once an addict like many of you), but I just don't see it translating into a good movie & the ads didn't look all that promising to me.

I'm a big fan of the series(as in my name), I thought the movie was good. Though the acting was horrible, there already making a sequel to the movie.

Look, I saw this movie. I knew it wasn't going to be a winner. I was interesting in how they were going to shoot this whole from the first person perspective. However, I was a little disappointed when I realized that was just a marketing gimmick to get me in the theatre.

I wont spoil the movie for anyone though. Go see it, if for nothing else than maybe it'll make a couple of bucks, which might prompt someone into making a real good Half-Life 2 movie.

Will this film make it into my collection? Sure, as soon as it goes on sale for $10.
