Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 Speaker Placement

Anyone have any info on 7.1 speaker placement for these new formats?

Would the new 7.1 discrete formats be any different than the existing virtual 7.1 formats?

Any THX spec changes or preferences between direct radiators or dipoles?

There should be no difference in placement. It would seem that discrete 7.1 means each of the surrounds will be different from each other, ala DPLIIx.
