<font color='#000080'>Dolby Laboratories announced a new "flavor" of its Dolby Pro Logic II surround format which is geared towards providing 6.1 and 7.1-channel surround effects from 2-channel source material. <font color='#000000'>I would actually like to hear the PL IIx, the only hope I have for it is that it doesn't sound as compressed as PL II. &nbsp;I think DTS:NEO6 on my Yamaha RX-V1300 sounds less compressed and better instrument Breathing. &nbsp; However PL II Movies tends to fare better on DVDs.
