Hi all, finally bought a decent home theater set up and new TV in boxing day sales but can't seem to play dolby atmos. When I first set it up and played the movie IT (with dolby atmos) the words dolby atmos scrolled along the front of the soundbar. Now I play the same file and nothing scrolls across and it just sounds like surround sound.
I've played with all settings I can't find anything and I'm out of options.
My set up is :
NVIDIA shield tv (files running from Samsung ssd) - hdmi 2.1 going to Samsung soundbar q90r - hdmi 2.1 running to hdmi arc on 65" LG 4k TV. All brand new gear.
I even have an atmos demo with a range of really cool demos. None of them trigger the dolby atmos on the soundbar.
