I recently purchased my first Marantz SR7015. The questions I have is, I want to add another pair of height speakers. I already have one pair installed (TML, TMR) should I put the other set in top front or top rear? Or doesn’t even matter?

i think i might notice the new sound coming from the front instead of the rear but what do i know i still have 5.2

You usually need to "skip" a row. For example, you would want Top Front and Top Rear. Are your current Top Middles exactly overhead or angled slightly in front?

I looked into the speaker configuration in the manual. Ended up with using my top middles and buying two front height speakers.
