I like van Halen, and I have nothing against kool and his gang, but, this just seems a little odd to me.

A little jungle boogie, then run with the devil? Sounds like an epic night to me!

Um.............................................................................................................................................WOW.

I did not expect that combination.

Did they announce a sponsor? Metamusil?

I listend to their 1st pre single Tattoo, and it sounded OK, but nothing spectacular. That is a strage lineup. I think all the better bands would have wanted Van Halen to be the special guest instead.

such a sad way to trash the band. Roth has no business to be singing anymore. They hate each other, yet they do it for the paycheck. Musically its terrible and embarrassing for a band that ruled over two decades of high energy rock.

That being said, I'd probably find Kool & the Gang more entertaining than the latest carnation of VH.

Definitely an odd couple if you ask me, but whatever  Seems like it would draw completely different crowds. So either the promoter is trying to get people to squeeze something out of both bands, or no other relevant rock bands wanted to be on that tour. Either way, I am guessing it isn't going to be a massive money maker.

And .........not only are they totally NOTHING like they were.VH is using Michael Anthony's backing vocals from TAPE !!!!! on this run....it is a fact as I have some friends on the tour.....I for one will NOT be going to see this pathetic rehash of a formerly great band.........Wolfie my butt!!!!:mad::mad:
