I have a Rotel RB956AX 6 channel amp and would like to know if you think it will have enough power to run a Paradigm CC590 centre and 2 x ADP590 rears. It can be bridged into 3 channels etc...

I would think in a normal room at normal listening levels 40 watts per channel should do fine. Is there something wrong with your receiver?

There is no receiver as yet fmw. Slowly going back to HT after a few years of 2.1. I have 2 x Rotels for fronts, Signature 60's, and was thinking of using this one with an Emotiva or Outlaw processor and going all separates.. and also buying said speakers. I was thinking of bridging it to 2 x 3 giving a 100W or 90W depending on whose specs you read and it will then only power 8ohm speakers. Being that its only powering centre and rears I thought it may do the job.

Probably enough power for the usual volume, but probably not for loud house parties.

The CC-590 and ADP-590 are pretty efficient speakers and you should be able to drive them with the Rotel, but for HT I would probably get a little more juice.

Thanks for the input AcuDefTechGuy and zedd. I suppose I can always hook it up when I get the rest and if not suitable go looking for " another black box ' that my wife will love....
