Does this make anyone else think of Fargo?

Heard that on the radio this morning, but it sounds like in this one, he did not actually make it through the chipper. It was also on 1000 ways to die except that it was TWO of them killed in the same incident while one guy was trying to pull the other one out (and that one was also in the Bay Area if I am not mistaken).

Sounds like we need wood chipper control in this country. To many people getting killed by these things. Somebody call Pelosi quick:rolleyes:

Don't these things have some kind of emergency stop button on them or something? I would think you would want something like that on the inside, just in case you get pulled in.

According to the article he was flipped in the air and killed by hitting his head on the emergency off bar. The irony.

Just gotta be safe. But, it always amuses me when I see a guy using a chainsaw in shorts and flip flops standing on the very top step of a 6' laddder. A accident just waiting to happen.

Used my chainsaw once to bust out a shelving unit in my garage years ago. Dog just looked at me with a WTF look.

I also knew a guy several years ago that was cutting a branch with a chainsaw while standing on his tip toes in the bucket of his tractor while it was as high as it would go. Obviously, no good can come from this. The branch swung down hitting him in the chest. He went off the back of the bucket. Fortunately, he had enough sense to throw the chainsaw as far as he could. He bounced off the front tire of the tractor on his way down. He lived, but he was not moving well for a long time.

Chippers are cool, but they frighten me. So much can go wrong if you aren't careful. Also, Fargo people hate the movie Fargo. It was filled in Brainerd, MN. They might throw you in a chipper just for referencing the city to the movie. People in Fargo don't talk like the movie. You have to go to the small towns in Minnesota or North Dakota to get people talking like dat. Ya, heh der. Oof Da!:p
