Does placing sub on four "feet"/isolation riser help reduce rattle

Hello- My final (I hope) question related to my Axiom EP500. Now that I'm setup, and it sounds great, my only complaint is that the Sub rattles the crud out of the floor (setup is upstairs) shaking everything in it's monstrous path. While this is a good thing, the actual rattle of things on the floor is not pleasant. With that said, would placing the sub on four 3-4" feet help reduce this? I have seen this in some setups and wondered if that's what it's for.

OR,

Do these Auralex Subdude "isolation risers" do what I'm wanting? or will this deteriorate sound? Auralex Subdude

Low bass will go through pretty much anything, but I have heard that the Auralex Subdude (or Gramma - same thing) does help a bit.

Secrets did a review of it several months ago. IMO, For $50, it can't hurt to try it.

It depends if the floor problem is caused by the actual bass sound wave(s)...or if it is caused because the subwoofer enclosure itself is transmitting some energy to the floor. You can check this by temporarily folding up a blanket and putting it under the subwoofer. If this eliminates or acceptably minimizes the problem...trying more conventional isolation methods may be a good idea..:)
