Is it me; or are the forums getting slow?
Maybe it's due to all the new members, and added traffic.
As far as screen refreshing and moving from thread to thread
the past few weeks have been slow.
Anyone else notice this?

It has been running fine for me. It could be your connection speed/latency, or your distance from the web server.

Here are a few things you can try. I would try a speed test to see if its your connection.

http://www.speedtest.net/

The other thing you can try is tracing a packet from your computer to the web server. You can accomplish this by......

Open up a comman prompt by going to start> run> type in "cmd"> hit enter

Then in the command prompt type "tracert audioholics.com" and hit enter

If it takes longer than about 5 seconds to reach the destination you are probably a ways away from the server and are having latency issues.

AH decided that since reforming you was impossible slowing you down was the next best option.:D

You can't stop Stratman only contain him.

Seriously: I have not noticed any sluggishness. Other than my own.

No sluggishness in terms of loading pages but a definite slowdown of posting activity lately. Come on people ask some interesting questions or start a controversial thread topic in the Steam Vent. ;)

Well, Chad's on leave, Seth is relatively incommunicado, Sheep is working so much he has litlle time to post, and myself, Halon and majorloser are wasting time arguing Highfi's alpha male post...I'm just kiddin ya highfi! Your post(s), as always is well received, and well written :p.

The most in depth posts I've been in on lately are throw distances for pj's and component switchers. Not well received, and somewhat go nowhere threads. Hmmph. Where's the beef? :p;)

No slower than usual it seems. It differs from day to day though - some days a page will not load entirely so I have to refresh until it does. Most of the time it's fine.
