Does Denon 3910 Pass SACD over HDMI?

I think the answer is no, but I thought I would ask the learned membership here and see if anyone had a definitive answer. I am considering a new pre/pro (now using a 3806 as a pre/pro, but I read about the Emotivas and fell in lust) but would like to preserve the digital link for the HD audio formats. Not that I have anything against the 3806-I got the upgrade bug and am evaluating my options. TIA.

According to the manual, the 3910 will not pass multi-channel SACD over HDMI-It only passes the 2-ch CD layer. It does pass multi-channel DVD-A, however. I use DenonLink for audio between my 3910 and 4306, which you could do with your 3806. I'm using my 7.1 analog inputs for the Dolby TrueHD and DTS MA from my Blu-Ray. The sound is superb.

Yeah, that's what I currently do now for HD audio between the 3910 and the 3806, but I was hoping to expand my options to receivers or pre/pros that did not have DenonLink (which works just fine, BTW). I haven't added an HD audio/video source to my system yet, but I will keep your tip in mind when I do. Since the price of two HD units, one for each format (HD DVD and Blu-Ray) is cheaper than an upgraded rx or pre/pro, maybe that is the better option. Of course, that gives me a new problem, that of where to put all the boxes! Thanks for the info.
