Hey Guys,

I have been trying to audition a pair of these speakers, but have been un-successful so far.

Does someone own and/or auditioned these speakers? If yes, what is your opinion on the same?

Also, does someone near Seattle own these?? If yes, would you be able to audition it for me? :)

Thanks.

PSB Synchrony

I auditioned the PSB Synchrony One's and thought they were excellent speakers. I'm in the Seattle area but I demoed them while vacationing up in Canada. Ultimately, I ended up with the Def Tech Mythos ST's, as I found them almost as good. If price wasn't a factor, I probably would have purchased the Synchrony One's.

If you're in the Seattle area though, you should check out Eficion in Redmond Town Center. After hearing the F200 and F300's it didn't take me long to sell my Mythos ST to get them. Amazing speakers. Of course, different people, different speaker tastes but definitely worth an audition.

I haven't heard them and plan on going and hearing them soon :)

I was looking at their website and they do not quote any price over there. Could you give me an idea of how much does a pair of these speakers cost, so that I can judge if a trip down there will be worth it or just plain heart pain :)

Eficion

If I remember correctly, the F200's were marked down to 2300.00 per pair. The F300's are quite pricey at 10,000 per pair.(but bested the Wilson Watt Puppy's and Paradigm S8v2 when I was auditioning them, again just in my opinion.) They have some recession promotion where you can pay over five years at no interest. I would encourage a listen though. Played over a BAT pre and BAT stereo amp, it has such a boxless sound but with such fast and accurate bass, it's amazing. By the way, I am in no way affiliated with the company :) I just happened to hear them and was blown away. I would be interested to hear your thoughts, good or bad.

10K is certainly out of my range :) I can think over the F200's though :)

Planning to visit them this weekend... Will report back with my impression on the same :)

Just a question though, what would be comparable speakers to the F200s??

Comparisons

That's a good question. I know in one review they got compared to a Paradigm Bookshelf which costs around 2000. I haven't heard the particular bookshelf. I had a Mythos One floor stander and the F200 certainly bests them. I did have a ERA D5 and D4 and F200 is on a completely different level, although the price is on another level as well. It just has a very pleasant natural sound that is very lifelike. I use it primarily for music but the other day played Wall-E and it sounded incredible. I have it paired with a Marantz 6003 and it works very well together. I think better than the Pioneer that is used at store. If you have a chance, ask them to pair the F200's with the BAT amp. That should be something else.
