Does anyone have experience with wireless subs?

My father purchased a paradigm 5.1 setup, but their entertainment center area has no room for the included sub. The sub is going to need to go about 25 feet away (audio fidelity is going to come in second to room layout in this case). No carpet or baseboards that we can run cable under, easiest solutions seemed to be:
1) drill a hole down to the basement in each location and run a roughly 30 foot cable
2) some type of wireless solution, ButtKicker-Link RF wireless system or something similar

I saw the review on this site of the buttkicker used for seat vibration, it specifically mentioned that the reviewer would not use it for a sub, just curious if the company has updated the design, or if anyone else has any experience using something like this with their sub.

Thanks much for any advice or suggestions.

I think you will be much happier with drilling the floor and running the cable in the basement. Not a big deal. Try to drill your holes near the baseboard so they are less noticable. Check for wires, pipe and floor joist below. You don't want to hit one of them! I did this for our install in our family room.
