Does anybody make this?

Anybody remember HD Base T? It is/was a standard to pass HDMI over an Ethernet cable, with the added bonus that you could also transmit up to 100W of power for your TV. That got me thinking about how it could be applied to active loudspeakers: a single Ethernet cable from your receiver could potentially send a high res digital feed to a speaker, along with enough juice for an active XO and Class D amplification. To achieve high output you'd either need an efficient design (active speakers tend to have an advantage there anyway), or a more robust cable that can handle higher wattage. Either way, such a system seems to be a lot easier to implement in the home vs typical active speakers that require their own power cord.
