Seriously, I have no life.
Anyone of you a fan, a viewer of this series?

Their last two seasons is on DVD, I am finding out, and picked it up recently.
Certainly looks a lot better on a very big screen and sounds just great:D

I've seen a few episodes of the series and thought it was pretty good.

Just like brocolli, I liked it when I was a kid, but I have lost my taste for it.

My wife likes it a lot. I intend to check it out. Our favorite series on TV are Deadwood, Rome, and the Sopranos.

Is that on Sci-fi ch only? No wonder I have missed the season and probably the new season.
Or, is it on PBS? I think that is where it was at one time. Any insight?

I think my wife watches it on BBC America.

My wife records them on the DVR from BBC America. I watched a few with her tonight and enjoyed them (in between naps and looking at Audioholics). They are imaginative and funny, and have a cute actress, which doesn't hurt anything.

If you can record it with the DD 5.1 soundtrack, stand by:D

That's what I thought might be the case. Sci-Fi on premium channel or on the digital service only:eek:

I think it does record in 5.1. Upstairs, where we watched it, we only have two channel output. I'll record it and play it back in the theater.

Time Warner transmits Dr. Who on BBC America, which is not a premium channel.

Not only do I like Doctor Who, but I am totally addicted to teh BBC spin-off show, Torchwood.

Unfortunately Torchwood doesn't come on Sci-Fi channel so I have to download episodes off the internet.

Have you seen the other spinoff -- "The Sarah Jane Adventures"? I believe 1 episode has aired so far. Prepare yourself for the... Sonic lipstick... :)

No, I'll have to check it out. Is it any good?

I saw the Season 2 episode where Sarah Jane and K-9 guest starred on the show. Actually, come to think of it, that was the first time I watched the new Dr. Who. I guess seeing that boxy robot brought back memories of watching the show in high school.
