Do these work with subs

There are quite a few threads/topics about the subdude or other isolation platforms. I haven't really seen any science to support Auralex's claims. I do have a gramma and a subdude and I haven't really noticed any difference with them. They are handy in other ways - I don't stub my toes on my subs and I don't hit them with the vacuum.

Ha... My Grotto sub has white marks on it from the vacuum.. I always ask my wife to be careful around the gear. No marks on the Rythmik yet. This would be good for that.

It will definitely decouple the sub from the floor, even if you have carpet over concrete sub-floor it will help. But, the 1.75" extra height will not keep the sub safe from the vacuum cleaner.

You could get the bigger Great Gramma and make it so that he vacuum cleaner cannot reach the sub.

There is also the AmpDude, same size platform but 2.75" height. Better isolation, no difference in protection from the vacuum :D.
