DIY tv lifts

Has anybody built a tv lift. I have seen some kits and I have also heard of people using car window motors. Looking for some design ideas

I've seen people use scissor jacks and that was to lift a fish tank, which is way heavier than a flat panel. It's way faster to have an actuator push sideways to lift a scissor jack, and then it locked into place when it reached the top, and unlocked with a remote and lowered slowly. I see people build them into dressers a lot now, and that ceiling tv thing is great.

Not that I know anything about engineering, but I did see a bed furniture set where a TV lifted out of the footboard of the bed! Had a little cover over top that moved out of the way and it lifted straight up out of the footboard. Neat idea.
