DIY Projector Screen

Ok, so I just got my Dazian projector screen matieral today (1.3 gain) and i was about to install it when I encountered a problem. What side of the matieral should I use? One is more coarse then the other, and I just want to know which one would be better.

I would call Dazian and ask.
With other manufactures, I've seen both smooth and rough sides used.

I would wager you'd use the smooth side.

I contacted Dazian, and her is the response i get:

"You view on the coarse side"

Hopefully it does look better on the coarse side as i just ripped off the matieral, and switched sides. Even though the smooth side does seem to be of higher quality, I will wait and see. I dont think that I would be able to rip off the fabric again so if the smooth side is better I will DEMAND a refund

I hope that you have names and date/ time stamped evidence who gave you the info if it comes to an exchange.

lol... they have a 30 day return policy stating that if you are at all unhappy with the matieral you can return it free of charge
