Hey all, I'm looking for a new 15" subwoofer to drop into my ported 5cf box. It previously housed a Dayton Ref HO, but after a funky interaction with Parts Express, I'd rather not deal with them again. I'd obviously like to keep my cabinet as I built a nice one, and can modify the port(s),a single 4"x14", if needed. My amp is an inuke 3000, and am mostly interested in LFE for home theater, although I do listen to plenty of music, so a little accuracy is nice. Im having trouble finding subwoofers that can drop into my enclosure. Any suggestions? Under $400 would make my budget

There's a DIY section better suited still...
I'm only just learning about DIY myself. Might want to check in over there. Uncertain if you can move the post through editing it, or maybe just ask a Mod to do it. :)

Hard to do the backward calculations with each driver, but is that what you've been doing or ? Which program have you been using? Comparing the T/S parameters? Agreed, maybe someone in the diy subforum here or on avsforum.com might model something for you or perhaps have an idea what may work with those dimensions particularly
