Am curious if anyone has one of these or knows of any info or reviews of Divinci rec.

I am looking to upgrade and would like something in the lower 500 dollar price range.

Never heard of it.

Yamah, Denon, Pioneer, and HK are good options in your price range.

Looks like white van scam products to me. Avoid at all costs. Heed jcPanny's recommendation and go for Yamaha, Denon, Pioneer, or H/K.

UPDATE: After further research into Divinci products I can tell you with absolute certainty that you DO NOT want to waste your money on them. DO NOT buy any Divinci products. They are a SCAM.

JR Electronics is offering the HK AVR-635 (new, not refurb like on eBay) for $549.00 shipped.

In my opinion, that is a spectacular deal for this receiver.
