Display corruption???

My issue that I have noticed in the past two months is with an unusual red pixel flicker on my plasma. Basically, every now and then when I am watching something, when the picture changes I will get a flare up of red pixels surrounding an object such as a head or a car or something. it lasts only for a few seconds and is very sporadic in how often it happens.

Any ideas??,, new componant cabled to start or is this a sign of a plasma issue

If the symptom is on all inputs, it might be a TV problem.

You could try switching the red and blue cables, at both ends, and see what happens. If the artifacts go away or show up in blue then I'd say your cable was bad.

Just for ha ha's i ordered a new Blue Jeans component cable since the one I have is generic with loose connections. We'll see what happens..Thanks
