Displacement on Kappa Perfect build?

I got the mineral wool for my Kappa Perfect enclosure. I am putting a 2" thick piece on the large brace that will completely cover the large brace. Couple questions:

1: What about all the displacement this mineral wool takes up, will it effect the way the sub works?

2: Should i put a smaller piece on the large brace?

3: Should I put any poly fill in the cabinet?

I believe the enclosure was designed for a 4" wide strip that runs horizontal on the brace directly behind the driver.

No, we carefully designed this cabinet for optimal bandwidth, SPL and fidelity from 19Hz - 85 Hz. It acts like a text book perfect example as a result with no performance degradation due to things like insufficient port air flow, etc..

You will want to get some OC705 or 8lb Rock wool to place inside the cabinet. Use a 4" piece wrapped in cloth (to eliminate chances of pieces being blown out the port) and glue it (using 3m Spray 77) to the large brace.
