Disney: New 'Pirates' Movie

Looks like Disney is keeping the Pirates franchise rolling for another round & Depp has graciously signed on board as Cap'n Jack Sparrow. Due out in 2011. I don't have any other info. Here's the link.

Kind of reminds me of "Spaceballs: The search for more money." The last one was more miss than hit imho. Though it might be interesting to see how things with Will Turner go now that he's the new Davy Jones. I'm sure he and the Krakken could either lend a hand to Sparrow or make his life he**.

2 and 3 were entertaining, but very average and all down hill from the first one. Keira Knightly already said she would not return for a 4th.

After the exponentially diminishing quality of the first three movies, I dread to think of how this one will fare. I've yet to be able to stay awake for all of the third one.
