DishNetwork signals available via component output?

Is anyone using 720p via the component output on their DishNetwork PVR622?
Is 1080i possible via component out?
Can you use it at the same time as your HDMI connection?
Any help in settings would be appreciated.

Not so sure about the 720P, but I know 1080i works, I used to install those DVR 622 dual tuner machines. the component will carry every HD mode there is avail on your programming.

Coaxial cable to the second TV only...
I have 2 of the 722's but its the same deal, no HD output for second TV :(
You can select HDMI or Component out in the menu for your main TV, both will not be in use at the same time...

The second TV connected to the 622 will likely be using the coaxial connection if it is another room (although it will let you use composite connections if you can install it yourself), not an HDMI or component video connector. What this means is a couple things. First if you have a flat panel monitor without an integrated tuner, you most likely are out of luck since most monitors lack the coaxial connector. Secondly while the picture will look good, it will not look as good as the TV using the HDMI or component video connections, which means you are not able to view true high-definition content on that second TV. If this is important to you, buy a separate HD receiver box for your other TV instead of using the 622 for both.

Thanks Warpdrv. That was the answer I was looking for. It could be worse but I guess I can live with switching settings between the upcoming plasma and the projector for viewing.

We bought a plasma for upstairs and it is amazing how often we find ourselves watching the plasma vs. the front projector downstairs. It is convenient but is murder on my electricity bills to cool the upstairs to watch it. I could have bought a plasma for what I have spent on the added expense of cooling the upstairs.
