Very new to all this. My 1st ever post. Replacing Vizzo Sound Bar/ wireless sub with
DISPLAY: LG 55" LCD
Source providers: LG Blue Ray DVD, & Direct TV.
Receiver: Marantz SR 5004 7.1

Front Mains; B&W CDM 7SE
Center: B&W CC6 S2
Surounds: B&W DS 6

My listening space (family Rroom) is 18 X18.5 X10. 1 side wall glass, back opens to dining/kitchen area. So actual back wall to set up area is 32' . Floor is wood. Surounds are on partial wall defining flmy. rm. (18,5' from set up wall.

Looking for direction on sub choice for the above. Don't mind sourceing pre-owned or new. Was looking at B&W ASW 1000 & 675? . Hope to get this in my home for $800 or less.
HELP??

While B&W argubly makes great overall speakers, some manufacturers that specialize in only subwoofers can offer better bang for the buck and stellar quality to boot. Check out offerings in your price range from Hsu and SVS to name just two.

That's a very large room you got there, I assure you that nothing from any B&M brands could come close to pressurize it
Your best bet will be this sub - buck for buck - you're unlikely to find better value, performance, warranty and service

ps: In the future don't buy LG TVs

Westinghouse and Vizio have way better picture than samsung or LG. PSA 15 or VTF 15H will do.

Personally, I prefer Plasma technology over LED/LCD and Panasonic as a manufacturer of those Plasmas. True Black, artifacting, and refresh rates are my key considerations of why I left LED to go to Plasma. I think Vizio is terrible, in my experience at least. If I recall, they started as a source of revenue for Costco to sell TVs. In my home, I do have a HD Sony, HD LG, HD Samsung, and HD Panasonic TVs throughout the house. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't go for that 720p 120hz or 60hz TVs, I pony for the better tech or wait.
