So not new to home audio or video but new to Dirac. I understand the majority or Dirac setup but a bit confused with the cut off frequencies its setting my speakers at. I have 7 in wall RSL W25E speakers and 4 in ceiling RSL C34E MKII backed by 2 Speedwoofer 12s subs. My receiver is a Onkyo TX-RZ70. Now what I'm seeing is that Dirac is setting the front height Atmos speakers different then the rear height Atmos channels. This also is being done in a couple of the in wall speakers , RSL has said to change the heights to 120hz and the in walls to 70hz for cut offs. Dirac is setting the Atmos channels to 190hz a d 200Hz for rear. What I'm wondering is why Dirac is choosing these frequencies as the speaker are capable of lower is this based on my room and how there reacting in this room? Also Dirac sets subs to 120hz is that recommended as I have always set my subs in the past to 80hz. Does Dirac also need to be double checked for speaker level or is that something that is calculated in the software.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
