Directly at your sides on the wall about 3 feet above your listening position. With di-poles you must make sure you don't mix the left and right up. There should be an L and R. When set up properly the forward facing speakers are in phase and the rearward facing speakers are out of phase. Mix up the left and right and you won't get the optimal sound they were intended to give.
