Digital Sat. box

Hi everyone,
I have a Direct TV sat. system but my receiver isn't digital... Do I call Direct TV or is there a better place to get a digital box. I went to Tweeter but they don't carry them.

What do you mean by digital? Digital audio? You sat feed is a digital picture already. If you want a digital audio out call DirecTV and tell them your box is dead and you need a new one. Better yet, they are selling to existing customers the new TiVo 80 gb boxes for $49. It has a digital optical out.

Thanks for the response Duffinator.I should have been more specific but you got it right. Digital audio. I will call and get the box you suggested with Tivo.

To get the $49 deal tell them you are going to switch to cable. They will credit your account for $50 of the $99 purchase price and maybe throw in HBO.
