Diamond Case TT-400 Credenza Review

Sometimes it can make or break a home theater. Most home theater "furniture" looks like it belongs in a dentist’s office or that was built in metal shop by high school students. Some of us like that "industrial" look, but when you are trying to convince your significant other that upgrading your perfectly good speakers for ones that look remarkably similar but cost three times as much… you need to make concessions. But that doesn’t mean that form and function are mutually exclusive.

It looks nice, but how would one convince one's friends that sanity had not been lost, when they find that the TV is sitting on a table that costs over 2 grand!

Yeah, I actually had some pretty good wire management going on before this review. Some people can just do that, me, I have to work at it. Usually takes two or three tries.

And that Component? Yeah, way too long. Those worked for my old set up, I've got some shorter ones on order.

I don't know how much furniture shopping you do but to get real furniture the cost is absolutely frightening. My wife and I went up to Highpoint NC to look for a dining room set because we heard they had incredible prices. Well, most of the stuff we found topped 8 grand for a table, 6 chairs, and a buffet (or something - basically something to store dishes and stuff). Needless to say, we still eat in the kitchen. I agree, it is pricey, but I've found that somethings just cost. Especially if you want something of quality.

I have a personal motto, its goes something like this.

"I'd rather spend a lot of money once and do it right, then have to re-buy something numerous times"

Thats why I just spent $200 on sunglasses. :D

Only in America can your $2000 TV sit on a $3000 TV stand.

Don't forget that all the equipment is in there as well. But, I suppose you could do that in any country... but i don't know how close they'll get that moving van. You may have to meet them half way.;)

My favorite part of the review is the empty rack space being an excuse to buy another piece of gear. Can I use that with my wife?!! (Sheer GENIUS!!!)
