If you care for your son, and I hope you do the steps to follow are:
1) Throw away these garbage speakers
2) purchase this kit and build with your son : https://www.parts-express.com/overnight-sensations-mt-speaker-kit-pair--300-706
3) connect the speakers as it shown below on diagram:
Agreed, but perhaps the C notes would suffice as they are a little cheaper kit

I don't mean any disrespect, but perhaps you're missing the point? (Maybe I am). Sometimes it's fun just to build stuff. :) It may not be about the money.

No, we got the point, and it isn't about the $ either, it's about the sound quality ;)

Yeah, many of us here build just to build, but we also want to be sure the end product is worth our time and effort, that's where we were trying to point you towards.

Those scavenged speakers are going to be awkward with only a single tweeter.

Perhaps a pair of full range drivers in a PVC tube enclosure would be a better option.

Hi all,

I am from Maldives and I understand its better to build from real design and good drivers, here we don't have much resources and shipping cost to Maldives is very high. This is more like a school holiday project and I want to build small speaker with him where he can take anywhere. As we don't have rechargeable batteries I am using my drill battery for power.

OK, what kind of input do you have for that scavenged set of speakers?

Is it just 2 wires going to that entire speaker assembly?

If it is, then that is likely a single channel speaker assembly, so you would likely just hook those 2 wires into a single channel on your BT board.

You really can't get stereo sound from a single (mono) speaker.

I was really just referring to the notion of simply buying a speaker versus building one, even if it's not as cost effective. I hear ya, though. It all definitely has to be worth the effort.
