If you guys could build "the ultimate loudspeaker" using linear phase crossovers what drivers would you use? Would it be a 4way? 3 way?
I would likely use a 4way setup implementing a mixture of scanspeak and seas bass mids and tweets with the sub bass being covered by lms5400. Each driver would have its own cabinet and be easily stackable. The subs could be placed around the room if required leaving a mini stand for the remaining 3way to image correctly.
Is there other solutions to the deqx that offer FIR?
