I don't have room for all 7 speakers, and no software that uses them, but would like to bi amp the back two channels as mention for the denon 3805, and also listed on denons site for the new 2106. Can the 2805s back two channels be used as bi-amps for the fronts and maybe sent to a passive subwoofer?

No, only the 3805 can of the '05 models (and of course 5805). It has something to do with the use and switching capability of the two additional zones.

That 2106 looks really good for the price. Especially the XM radio being built in, I guess the newer receivers will have that option. The bi-ampability seems like a very nice feature also. Hmmm, maybe it's time to upgrade from my TX-SR600.
